Breakfast Burrito Bonanza Extravaganza

Men of Fuel,

Its the most wonderful time of the year…and its not Christmas nor back to school either…

Come out and join us as we recap and celebrate the inaugural Fuel year at Hidden Creek Country Club… With delicious and barely nutritious breakfast burritos. The annual Triple B where we look back and reflect upon all that we have done together.

Bring a friend to come see first-hand, why you bounce out of bed before 6AM each week. This will be an opportunity for any of you to briefly share what Fuel has meant to you, done for you, or taught you.

We have been through a great agenda of talks…do you remember the Prodigal Sermon? The Underhill’s Bill—and not taking responsibility for our own decisions? Our series on Accountability?

Will you ever look at the movie Rocky Balboa the same way again?

“You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that! I’m always gonna love you no matter what. No matter what happens. You’re my son and you’re my blood. You’re the best thing in my life. But until you start believing in yourself, ya ain’t gonna have a life. “

Our discussions on not having enough to give anymore? The talk about being connected with all these virtual communities like Facebook and Linked In and Blackberries and iPhones yet being more disconnected than ever before? Remember the Inward Pull where DR’s company realized that his sales people had only 40 hours PER YEAR to be with their customers? How about the left handed man and the fact that the best scene in the Godfather was taken from the Bible?

The talks on “Am I falling or am I flying?” Denial. Remembering. The picture of Church—and how it ought to be lived outside the walls of a building…

The Easter message about resurrection, the stories of transformation, and the story of “Raising the Roof” pointing out that it was the people INSIDE and closest to Jesus who kept the people OUTSIDE away from Jesus…

We discussed the Promise and then spent two weeks “Waiting on God.” Waiting is not meant to be passive…and its ordained time we are meant to “Prepare the Horse for Battle…” Prov 21:31.

All of this culminated into the final talk, “The Integrated Man” wary of becoming the “disintegrated” man…

Wednesday will be a blast. Please show up early and plan to stick around late.

So, as you know, we are launching “Starting Point—Summerfest at Fuel”. More info to follow, but sign ups will begin on Wednesday.

Get your BURRITO on.

“It’s what you need to keep you going…”

Our mission is to create a comfortable, relevant and honest environment where men can explore and discuss aspects of life, purpose and faith.

We accomplish our mission by reviewing pertinent issues in men’s lives, examining them through relevant biblical principles, followed by a time of discussion with other men.

Wednesday mornings, September through May…and beyond
6:30 AM to 7:30 AM @ Hidden Creek Country Club, Reston, VA.
